Dreaming of a Green Christmas

“It’s that time of year, when the world falls in love. Every song you hear seems to say… Merry Christmas. May your New Year dreams come true.”

Ah, my favorite day has returned. Merry Christmas Eve to you and yours. Though it’s not the white Christmas we’ve come to expect, here’s some reasons you should still get behind it. As we’ve discussed in the past, Christmas Eve is the superior of the Christmas festivity days. That is because you still have the entire holiday ahead of you to enjoy, you hopefully finished your shopping last night at the very latest, and this year- you can get out your shorts, flip flops, and sunscreen and head over to your family celebration. It’s weird, but just go with it.

Blogging hasn’t been my top priority this year, but I’m happy to share things have been pretty spectacular. Being home in Buffalo for nearly two years now never ceases to thrill me and I’ve loved every minute. On Thanksgiving, hubs and I found out we’ll be expecting a BABY GIRL in April! We are so excited to meet her. Work is incredible, and I can’t stop playing the “remember when” game with myself, thinking about what a difference a year makes. Friends and family are doing well- having babies, buying houses, getting married. It’s impossible not to feel grateful with all of this goodness swirling around me.

I hope your year was as fantastic as mine, and that you have a Christmas Eve celebration for the books. If you need me, I’ll be the sober one at the 3am karaoke party. Text me.
