Friends! I missed you. We’re back in regular land and even though the weather kind of blows, I’m all right with it. Our vacation was great, the weather was sweltering, and the company couldn’t be beat (with the exception of a few missing family members we wished could have joined us.)
This weekend, I’ll start my personal review of everything Disney. I’ll be honest, I’m scared. We had a magnificent time, but simultaneously struggled with some of the ways Disney World has changed since our last visit in the late ’90s. I’m actually more nervous to share my feelings about that than I was to share my less than favorable experience in Halifax. There are some hardcore Disney-holics out there, and I will brace for their reaction. Whether you love WDW or not, or have never been there, you can be sure the next entries will be chock full of juice. Resort Drink Recipes (Party Through the Parks) – Gotta close out the week with Disney love. One of our favorite moments was partaking in the legendary Lapu Lapu, found only at the Polynesian resort (which we love!) We grabbed our pineapple filled cocktails and headed out to the beach to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks from afar. It was pretty magical.
