I know I can’t be the only one out there getting on a plane tomorrow and already strategizing the best way to “dial down” my nervous energy. I’ve flown all over the world, including one of the most ridiculously long flights ever, to Australia- and I still cannot get comfortable flying. It’s embarrassing and annoying and something I hope to wipe away with expensive hypnotherapy and lasers one day, but for the moment, I do it the only way I know how: with booze. I’ll be packing two mini bottles of Brooklyn Republic vodka , (for that NY vibe,) to slip into the back pocket of my seat, and I’m already considering what mixers will work best with my secret weapons. So I beg you, come fly with me- let’s fly, let’s fly away, and please have a drink with me at 1:10PM tomorrow afternoon. Thanks.
Drinks on a Plane (Esquire) – This is a very manly article about drinking on a plane, but I love it anyways. This guy knows what’s up.
Mile High Boozing: The Best In-Flight Cocktails (Jaunted) – Unfortunately I won’t be flying any of the mentioned airliners, but that doesn’t mean I won’t attempt to score a cocktail umbrella for my drink, just in case.
