  • I always find the mini series category to be pretty boring.  Just wait, Judy Dench is 99% nominated in the next category…wait for it…
  • The only time I see anyone from CBS shows is during football Sunday or when I’m forced to see them when awards shows are broadcast on CBS.
  • The husband is not happy with the unflattering close up pictures for the memorial, or that some people got special tributes.  He’s kind of right about both.
  • CTV has some weird shows coming up this season.  I might watch.
  • Hubs is excited about Mark Harmon (Michigan Wolverines VIP)
  • Hey did we miss actress for a mini series?!  Judy Dench?!?!
  • BEST DIRECTING FOR MINISERIES OR MOVIE – Steven Soderbergh, Behind the Candalabra. I’ll be honest.  I didn’t know what he looked like until now, and it’s not what I imagined.
  • BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS MINISERIES OR MOVIE – Ellen Burstyn, Political Animals.  Good. She’s adorable.
  • OUTSTANDING LEAD ACTOR MINISERIES OR MOVIE – Michael Dougles, Behind the Candalabra.  Wonder who he’ll thank?
  • “This was a two hander” hahaha- Michael Douglas to Matt Damon.  Nice.
  • GOOD!  He thanked his wife.  I like him better now.
  • Really.. was I in the bathroom for Actress mini series???
  • OUTSTANDING MINI SERIES OR MOVIE – Behind the Candalabra.  I guess I should have watched it when the husband DVRed in “for me.”
  • I guess I was.  Or no women worked that hard in any mini series this year.
  • That was a long Audi commercial.  Loved the Jordan Catalano reference.
  • LMAO Will Ferrell and his children.  And shorts. Priceless. The kids are having a blast.
  • BEST COMEDY SERIES – Modern Family.  You know what I was hoping for…
  • “This may be the saddest Emmys of all time, but we could not be happier.” – Steven Levitan.  Hahaha.  He’s right.  It’s been a little depressing.
  • Will Ferrell is just the best, always.
  • OUTSTANDING DRAMA SERIES – Breaking Bad.  I guess that had to happen.  I’m sad Game of Thrones didn’t get well, anything.
  • Well, I guess it’s time to pick up episode 4 of Breaking Bad.  See you in a few weeks.
  • UPDATE- I WAS in the bathroom for Best Actress in a Mini Series and it was Laura Linney.  So typical and boring.  Now I have to look up if Judy Dench was also in her category.
  • UPDATE ON THE UPDATE- No Judy Dench this year.  But there was a Helen Mirren.  Close enough.
