Born in 2012 in an apartment somewhere in Ann Arbor, Michigan, The Daily Sampler launched with the purest of intentions: to serve as a daily writing outlet and connect with friends, family, and readers throughout the world.

At the time, it was filled with fluffy pieces about award shows and cocktails but more than a decade later, it serves as a home for something a little deeper. A little more poetic. A little more thought-provoking.
(But maybe some celebrity hot takes sprinkled in for fun, here and there.)
